WHAT IF MY PATIENT REQUIRES DELIVERY IN A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL THAN MINE?
Delivering Your Baby
Many prenatal conditions do not require you to deliver your patient’s baby outside your hospital. If you are able to deliver in your hospital, we are sure to communicate with you about our treatment recommendations and follow-up plan.
Patient Transfers
If you do need to transfer your patient’s prenatal care to a hospital with a level III NICU, however, our MFM specialist will arrange the transfer to Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center or Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center Redding.
HOW FAST CAN I GET MY PATIENT SEEN BY YOU?
Prompt Attention
We can make your patient’s first appointment quickly, sometimes within 24 business hours of your referral.
Advanced Imaging
We have state-of-the-art ultrasonographic capabilities to diagnose and clarify complex conditions and help us determine the most appropriate treatment options.
Your Patient’s First Visit
She’ll meet with our MFM specialist, genetic counselor, and will be referred to any other specialists she needs. Our coordinator can assist in arranging these appointments.
